Medical care in the German capital takes a high place in the world rankings. There are all sorts of treatments and surgeries with high quality.

Charité

Charité - the oldest and largest Berlin clinic, which currently has about 13,000 employees and 3,200 beds. Overall, the medical complex of four centers is located in different parts of the German capital. The centers are in turn divided into 100 clinics and institutes, 13 of which provide immediate medical attention. Which departments are in the Charité? Frankly, Charité deals with all kinds of diseases, from dentistry to the most complicated surgical operations. The clinics deal with heart problems, blood circulation, low vision, or neuropathy. Vivantes (Vivantes - Netzwerk für Gesundheit GmbH)

The relatively new network of clinics in Berlin (founded in 2001) supplies about a third of Berlin population. The Vivantes network includes nine major centers with about a hundred clinics and institutes, with together more than 5300 beds. Vivantes also includes 12 centers for the care of elderly people, 2 apartments for seniors, an outpatient rehabilitation center, and a large number of centers for medical care. one of the hospitals included in the Vivantes network, the Auguste-Viktoria-Klinikum with about 510 beds available for inpatient treatments available. German Heart Centre

The clinic specializes in the treatment of cardiovascular diseases as well as heart and lung transplantation. More than 2500 heart-lung transplants have been performed in this clinic, and 2,000 other operations on the heart and major blood vessels. In addition, the clinic conducted more than 5,000 investigations and operations of cardiac catheters. Approximately 6,500 patients in the inpatient hospital and 14,000 outpatients are treated annually.

Evangelic Hubertus Hospital

In 1997 the first clinic in Germany was opened in Berlin that specializes in minimally invasive surgery. The hospital Hubertus treats more than 5,000 patients per year.

Martin Luther Hospital

Schlosspark Klinik

Hospital of the German Red Cross

The clinic is divided into four hospitals in Berlin and treats annually more than 80,000 patients. On the one hand, the hospital has a 150-year history, on the other hand it is ready with the latest technology and provides medicine at the highest level. Spreebogen

The clinic specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of eye diseases. A team of experienced surgeons has performed more than 65,000 operations. The clinic has 15 different, highly specialized lasers. The motto is: "The eye is your window to the world!".
